A new tournament campaign featuring 40 national teams plus a series of limited edition events comes to eFootball™
17th November 2022 – Windsor – Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. can announce today that eFootball™ 2023 has entered “Season 2” and will hold a series of “Football Festival”-themed events and campaigns, some of which started today.
This will include the addition of 40 national teams that can now be selected for a limited time in the offline “Trial Match” mode, and in the online “Dream Team” mode, “National Team Packs” for Japan, the Brazil, Argentina and France. are all now available.
There will also be the inclusion of “The International Cup Experience”, an AI tournament in which users can play with one of the 46 national teams available, and the continuation of “eFootball™ International Cup”, a national challenge with a total prize pool of 1 billion eFootball™ coins.
“Trial Match” includes 40 new teams
eFootball™ 2023 The “Trial Match” offline mode will be expanded for a limited time to allow fans to play with 40 national teams, the full list of which can be found here: (LINK)
On console, users can also play 2v2 offline, and thus make the most of international rivalries with their friends on eFootball™.
This will last from Wednesday 16th November and mid-February 2023.
“The International Cup Experience” is underway
To celebrate the unusual but exciting 2022 global football calendar, “The International Cup Experience” comes to eFootball™ 2023. This will allow players from 46 countries to take on the AI and compete in the group stages and subsequent round of 16 to reach the pinnacle of world football.
This will last from Thursday 17th November and Thursday 12th January 2023.
This is part of the already ongoing “eFootball™ International Cup”, where users can participate in winning a share of over a billion. eFootball™ coins!
The “eFootball™ International Cup” has been taking place since Thursday 20th October and will end on Saturday 17th December.
New National Team Packs
To help users of all levels get started with their eFootball™ trips, four more national team packs were made available. These packs will include 11 players from each country allowing novice users to have a solid starting XI, or even the most expertise of eFootball™ users to further enrich their “Dream Teams”.

National Team Pack: Japan ’22 (Premium)
Each national team pack will also include a player who will appear as a “Big Time” card – Epic’s new theme.

“Big Time” represents the new theme of “Epic” eFootball™ player cards. These players can be past or present and celebrate some of each other’s greatest moments on the pitch with a special card design. All this to allow users to potentially recreate these moments (or do better) in-game on eFootball™ 2023.
