The Calgary Flames today announced the full theme night schedule for the 2024-25 season.
It all kicks off with the home opener scheduled for Saturday, October 12 with a battle against the Philadelphia Flyers.
Among the highlights, four cultural celebration games are planned: the Indigenous Celebration scheduled for January 11, the Lunar New Year Celebration on January 30, the Black History Celebration on February 23, and the South Asian Celebration on April 5.
Next Gen games return this season with a new inclusion as the Flames will host two, while their AHL affiliate, the Calgary Wranglers, will also host two to make up the Next Gen series. More announcements to come regarding this series, including special giveaways.
Scratchy Tuesday home games return, including two special Scratchy Tuesdays in New York and Super Scratchy Tuesday on April 15. Fans arriving at any Tuesday game will receive a scratch card after entering the Scotiabank Saddledome. Play early because scratch cards are limited, but the best part is that every card is a winner!
Prizes range from Flames food, merchandise and jerseys, tickets to Flames, Hitmen and Wranglers home games, discounts at the CGY Team Store and game tickets. Plus, every Tuesday game features an exciting grand prize up for grabs. Scratchy Tuesday: On the Road will also return this season.
Blasty is rolling for dark mode again, with the Flames set to wear the jerseys multiple times for five different homestands this season. The full jersey schedule will be released at a later date.
Other themed nights include: 90s Night (October 26), Hockey Fights Cancer (November 21), Canadian Armed Forces Appreciation Night (January 23), Women in Sport (March 8) and Pride Night (March 14).
