THE Ducks Anaheim organized their first pre-season game for the exhibition season on Monday when they faced the Utah mammoth.
The Ducks dropped a tight verification affair the day before Kings of Los Angeles In a game, mainly composed of inexperienced players, AHL players and prospects.
This time, they frozen an advanced group of the Top Nine Top Nine, a defensive unit of the NHL Four and projected Petr Mrazek. It was the first appearances of Chris Kreider and Mikael Granlund in Ducks uniforms.
Mrazek stopped 14 of the 15 shots went, mainly from a distance and rarely on a second opportunity.
The UTAH range presented tastes by Clayton Keller, Nick Schmaltz, Dylan Guenther and Mikhail Sergachev.
Karel Vejmelka obtained the head sign for mammoth in this match and saved 10 of the 13 shots before being fired after the second period. Jaxson Stauber arrived for the third period and stopped 7 of the 10 shots.

Live pre-season blog: Utah Mammoth vs Anaheim Ducks
Here are my take-out dishes of it (take everything with a grain of salt, because it is still very early in pre-season):
Systems-Averry system looks like a return to a bygone era, but with a minor adjustment. It is supposed to be a compliment, because this team required a change in this department, and it is well suited to the list.
The penalty was a rotary box and a diamond that was not as disruptive as hoped for, but it took dangerous seams. They led a neutral 1-2-2 first, allowing intelligent and qualified players to use their instinct to break the opposite efforts.
The most encouraging was the offensive area. The possession of the washer is essential, as is the search for the most dangerous looks as possible. The team has the skills to cling to snoring and to extend the goods while making dressed reads.
Beckett Sennecke-The objective were spectacular and translated. His fashionable game is polite and he has improved his protection capacity. However, if this team wants to make a real race for the playoffs, it may be in their interest to keep it through the training camp and send it back to junior before the season. His defensive habits outside back are special, but on-power leaves a lot to be desired. He could bear to improve his fishing and his commitment before he trusts the NHL. Unless of course, the Ducks believe that it can contribute to their final objective and these last efforts are not indicative of the immediate impact it can have.
Drew Helleson-Theheson adapts next to Lacombe and in this system perfectly. He is a cerebral defender who retains energy who can now better use his length and anticipation to gain washers and light the game in the other direction. He is a candidate for breakage under the radar who may not also be under the radar after tonight’s performance.
The Ducks will be back on Wednesday when they welcome the Los Angeles Kings at the Honda Center for their third pre-season match.
