THE PutThe outside field is filled, but the team would have planned to add another All-Star this off-season.
In the Friday episode of Podcast Baseball InsiderRobert Murray reported that five teams were in the running PROFAR JRICKSON Before the Voltigeur concluded an agreement with the Braves this week. These teams were the Blue Jays, the Astros, the Royals, the Padres and the Dies.
PROFAR has signed a $ 42 million contract over three years with Atlanta.
The fact that the dishes are listed as a team interested in PROFAR is a bit surprising since the team had already redone its external field thanks to the signing of Juan Soto and the trade of José Siri. Brandon Nimmo, Tyrone Taylor, Starling Marte And Jeff McNeil – Who also plays the second goal- are already on the list, it would therefore have been interesting to see where PROFAR could have been.
PROFAR, 31, has just had his best season in the big leagues. He reduced .280/.380/.459 while launching a career summit of 24 circuits and by making a career in a career of 85 points produced with the Padres. He was also appointed to his first All-Star team and won his first Silver Slugger while finishing 14th in the NL MVP vote.
Murray added that “as soon as there was a movement on the free agents market this week, the degar market has warmed up and Atlanta was aggressive to conclude this agreement.”
Murray could refer to Antoine Santander Signing his five -year contract with Toronto Blue Jays earlier this week.
We do not know how aggressive dishes were aggressive or when their interest started, but they added a sign Jesse Winker to a one year contract last Friday. Winker, who can play in the field, will probably be used as a left -handed DH option in the same way that it was used for dishes a season.
As for the other recent movements of the dissemination out of season, while waiting Pete AlonsoFollowing Winker’s decision, they have already started to complete their workforce with Winker and strengthen their enclosure. The team signed AJ Minister and use RHP Adbert Alzolay on a minor league contract.
