Dallas Mavericks will be in digital disadvantage for a while. The Daniel Gafford center will miss at least six weeks with a MCL sprain, by Espn.

The Mavericks initially announced Tuesday that Gafford, who suffered the injury during Monday defeat at the Kings of Sacramentowould be reassessed in two weeks. Now it seems that Dallas’ injury problems will be more durable.

Gafford apparently confirmed that he would be absent for a while in a story on his Instagram. Above a video of him playing, the center wrote: “You all wait for me … I’m coming back soon.”

Gafford, 26, is in his second year with Dallas and started about half of the matches this season. Before the injury, it was on average 12.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.9 blocks per game.

It is a blow for Dallas, which was already struggling with injuries. Three of the other great men of the Mavericks – Anthony Davis, Dereck Lively II and Dwight Powell – are also injured. Davis was sidelined by an injury to the adductor suffered during its beginnings With the team on Saturday, a few days after the successful trade that sent him to Dallas and sent Luka Dončić to the Los Angeles Lakers. Lively and Powell are respectively with ankle and hip injuries.

Mavericks fans did not respond well to the loss of Dončić, their beloved superstar; Now, these unhappy injuries point out that things become more disastrous for Dallas. Kessler Edwards, a 6 -inch 6 -inch double sense advantage, filled in the center of the Mavs.

Even with the crisscrosing bench, the Mavericks won their last two games, beating the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday and Miami Heat on Thursday. The two games were narrow but well -disputed victories; Kyrie Irving dropped 42 in the victory against the Warriors, while Thursday’s victory over the Heat saw seven mavericks ending two figures.
