Dallas Mavericks will be in digital disadvantage for a while. The Daniel Gafford center will miss at least six weeks with a MCL sprain, by Espn.
The Mavericks initially announced Tuesday that Gafford, who suffered the injury during Monday defeat at the Kings of Sacramentowould be reassessed in two weeks. Now it seems that Dallas’ injury problems will be more durable.
Gafford apparently confirmed that he would be absent for a while in a story on his Instagram. Above a video of him playing, the center wrote: “You all wait for me … I’m coming back soon.”
Gafford, 26, is in his second year with Dallas and started about half of the matches this season. Before the injury, it was on average 12.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.9 blocks per game.
