Rory McILroy, fresh out of a victory at Pebble Beachran hard in reality Tuesday evening in TGL, while his Boston Common Golf Club fell 6-2 against the dominant Los Angeles Golf Club. It was not quite Lakers-Celtics, largely because the Boston Ballfrogs contingent did not have Jayson Tatum or a Bird Larry in the group. McILroy, Adam Scott and a Keegan Bradley Moustachu could not start against the trio of Collin Morikawa, Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood, while the LAGC, dressed in black, was starting quickly and never let go.
College basketball and TGL are engaged in a battle for the time of antenna on ESPN, and Tuesday evening, Kentucky-Ole Miss took precedence. The game entry on the dry lasted a long time, slightly delaying the start of the TGL match. This meant that the ESPN observation audience did not see the debraying of the players, which had the positive effect of starting golf action in the seconds after the start of the broadcast.
LAGC, seen for the last time that Jupiter of Tiger Woods links the Tiger Woods golf club in week 2 by a score of 12-1, jumped to another hot start on Tuesday evening, propelled by the Pinpoint approaches from Morikawa And the hot putter of Fleetwood:
LAGC won the first three holes and four of the first five. McILroy and the Ballfrogs just couldn’t bring down a putt. The green world and the real world were difficult to read the players, and McILroy, Bradley and Scott all had trouble binding or gained putts to fall from what should have been distances.
Bradley, resembling an old-fashioned vile villain, finally put Boston on the set in the 12th hole of the match, putting his T-shirt less than 2 feet from the Cup. Rose has driven out her long putt tied up to the edge of the hole, but the ball launched right after. But McILroy immediately put his starting blow on the 13th of the limits, and Fleetwood quickly captured the sixth point of the Night of Lagc. Bradley took the second and last Boston point of the night on the last hole in the match, but at that time, the result of the match was out of doubt.
Some unusual software problems arose overnight. Fleetwood – which, of course, rises on Fleetwood Mac Tunes – had to retract a blow after the simulator did not correctly picked up its first attempt. And Morikawa managed to challenge gravity with one of his shots:
On the whole, however, the evening was more like a real competition – or, at least, half one. LAGC took an advance of 5-0 in simple and seemed composed all night. Boston Common, on the other hand, was reduced to the abolition of the hammer to launch the hammer (doubling the value of a hole) for an opportunity to return to the match, but Morikawa kept it in his pocket and kept Boston from a distance. Morikawa seemed more committed than in its previous release, and Fleetwood was a charismatic addition to its TGL inception.
Aside from the technical problems, TGL is settling in a groove as a golf entertainment during a reliable and low challenges. While winning players are starting to have fun with outside emotion exhibitions, losing players feel the bite. The matches still feel a little long, but the product establishes its niche.
Before the match, TGL held a moment of silence for Kultida Woods, mother of Tiger, who Died earlier Tuesday morning. Tida Woods was present last week for Woods’ victory over Boston Common, and the broadcast showed her that I appreciate looking at her son at work.
TGL will take off next week before returning to a triplehead of the presidents: Atlanta Drive GC will play Lagc and the Bay GC, then the bay will play Boston Common GC.
