Texas Longe chât obtained their first engagement in the recruitment class of 2027 this offseason. According to Hayes Fawcett of ON3, Tave EPPS four -star donor engaged in Texas. This is a major victory for Longhorns, who faced the competition of some of the country’s best programs. This list includes Ohio State, Notre Dame, Michigan, Tennessee, Oregon and Georgia.

EPPS began his career in high school as security before moving on to the second. He would have the chance to transform into rusher on board. The most recent Longhorn is classified as the 68th best player in the country by 247Sports, as well as second 3 and player n ° 7 in the state of California. With him in the mixture, the defense of Texas will get a boost.

While Longhorns still have many places to fill, EPPS will allow them to be creative. Its versatility was one of its call cards, and it stood out for numerous analysts, such as the national analyst for the recruitment of 247sports, Greg Biggins.

“EPPS is one of the most versatile defensive players in the country”, ” Biggins wrote. “… EPPS is a Jumbo athlete who runs well and plays a physical game. He has a basketball background and his athletics also appears on hardwood. It is very comfortable playing in space and should be a rusher of dominant pass in Blitz situations this fall. It is easily among the most complete defensive players in the region.”

Although the Longhorns will have to wait a bit to see EPPS in action, he has the potential to be a special player. With him on the list, the future is brilliant and he should help attract more talents. Now the emphasis will be placed on the addition of players to class 2027 which can help win a national championship.
