The Texans have accepted the conditions with linebacker EJ Speed, a key special teams player.
KPRC’s Aaron Wilson reports that Speed will sign a two-year contract worth up to $13 million, including $7.5 million guaranteed, rather than hit free agency. He signed a one-year, $5 million contract with the Texans last offseason.
