Teddy Bridgewater has had a legendary year, and he is now one victory away from adding another trophy to his collection.
In September, the former Louisville quarterback was inducted into the Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame. In October, the cardinals honored his jersey at L&N Stadium.
In his first year as a high school head coach, the former NFL quarterback led Miami Northwestern, his alma mater, to an 11-2 record and a berth in the game for the FHSAA Class 3A state title.
Northwestern is scheduled to face Raines (13-0) at 7:30 p.m. Saturday for the crown.
