With the Super Bowl Lix to just over 24 hours, Rotoworld’s crew gathered to approach what they believe that each team wins, what a Super Bowl third title would mean for Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid, and how they believe that things will finally take place on Sunday.
The chiefs win Sunday if …
Denny Carter: I think KC will become the Eagles if their passenger sensors in large region – namely Xavier Worthy and Travis Kelce – can be productive after capture. It is a high task against a philly defense which allowed the fourth adjusted adjusted yards by attempted pass between 0 and 10 yards this season. The chiefs will not get anything on the ground; They will have to be ultra-efficient in short areas.
Kyle Divorchak: Kansas City wins by taking an early advance and keeping the foot on the gas. Eagles are able to make a return, but this is not why they are built.
Lawrence Jackson Jr.: If they continue to surpass their opponents and win situational football battles as they still do. They also cannot allow the defense of Eagles to put pressure with four rushers of passes while the defensive backs succeed in the cover, of which they are both capable. The chiefs must choose their poison in defense and keep the Eagles unbalanced in attack.
Patrick Daugherty: We get a normal football match. Normality is the friend of chefs. Normality means turnover and limited bags. Normality means grinding training that ends with points. It doesn’t matter if they are goals or hit on the ground. This iteration of chiefs has won more normal football matches than any team in NFL history. Eagles need variance.
Zachary Krueger: They stick to the plan. It is difficult to imagine that one of the best quarters of the game is also one of the most conservative passers -by in the League, but Mahmes and the Chiefs know what has obtained them here. In the last three seasons, the chiefs have been in the last 10 at the same time in adot and at the deep launch rate, but have appeared in the top 10 of the EPA by Dropback and YPA during this period. How does it happen? Good blockage at the bottom of the bottom and perfect execution. The defense of young Eagles passes was surprisingly strong this season and allowed the third lowest yards after taking by reception (YAC / REC) on passes of 5.0 yards per planes or less. The offensive of the chiefs, on the other hand, has the 10th higher yac / REC on these passes. This is a force match on the strength that the chiefs will have to win if they hope three peats on Sunday.
The Eagles win Sunday if …
Carter: The Eagles have a great chance of overthrowing the chiefs if AJ Brown continues to dominate the coverage of man, as he has done in the past two seasons. The chiefs, I think, will sell to stop Saquon Barkley and see if Jalen Hurts is up to par. Hurts could (should (should) target Brown strongly in such a scenario, and Brown – who dominated the league in yards by itinerary against human cover diets in 2024 – could charge Kansas City.
Divorchak: Eagles must perfectly defend the short area. They did it all year round, but nobody performs these throws better than Mahomes and the Chiefs. If Philly can close the KC quick passage game, they can neutralize Mahomes.
Jackson: If they are not mistaken to leave with whom they came to the ball, and it is especially Saquon Barkley. I am not one of those ignorant people who think that Jalen Hurts is unable to launch the ball at a high level, but Barkley was the best NFL player this season behind Lamar Jackson. Don’t be afraid of the racing game. In the game of passes, I expect the Eagles to take what the defense gives them. For the Eagles in defense, you must find a way to withdraw Mahomas from your brand; It is a simple answer but not a simple task.
Daugherty: If the defense of the chiefs of the chiefs collapses. Kansas City was uneven on the ground but very adaptable. If it ends on Sunday, they do not really have the horses, they will have to commit too many additional resources in advance, then AJ Brown and Devonta Smith will be able to start harvesting the soul on the ground. Steve Spagnuolo had an answer for almost everything, but it would be difficult to find a solution for this.
Krueger: Saquon Barkley does “Saquon Barkley” things. Jalen Hurts is unfairly criticized as a passer, but does not seek further than the man who rushed to 2,005 yards and marked 15 affected as the main reason why the Eagles are where they are. Have a blocking unit of elite races and a defense among the first five also helps. It is unlikely that the Eagles will win the Battle of coaches, but Barkley can make life easier with Nick Sirianni and the offensive while keeping the offensive on time and breaking one or two of his long shopping. It would force the chefs to a more aggressive style of play, which could play in the hand of Philly.
2025 Super Bowl DFS Strategies: Eagles vs Chiefs Lineup Advice, Top Plays, Sleepers for Showdown
Saquon Barkley projects for another monster performance in the last DFS list of the NFL of the season. With a million dollars at the top, becoming unique is the key to a large score for SB Lix.
What would a third Super Bowl mean (fourth in total) for the heritage of Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid?
Carter: Because Mahomes lost Tom Brady in the Super Bowl, he can never really be the biggest quarter of all time in the imagination of the public. The loss of Mahomes at the Super Bowl against Tampa – which was not the fault of him – sealed the agreement. But I think that Mahomes can be established as clear 2 clear of all time with a victory here or in any handful of other appearances at the Super Bowl that he will do on the rest of his career.
Divorchak: For the lit among us, Mahomes is already the goat. A fourth Super Bowl only serves to fill the gap between him and Tom Brady for non-believers.
Jackson: This would mean that they are in the immortality of the NFL because no team has done so. It is difficult to make the playoffs every season, and these guys have transformed the Super Bowl into Kansas City Chiefs Invitational. Reid and Mahomes would considerably conclude the gap in being the goat in their respective paths.
Daugherty: Among some desperate people, there is a desperate desire to assimilate this group of chefs to the Multi-Denial Dynasty of Patriots. Even a third consecutive super bowl would not yet be equal. What he would do is give the chefs something that no other franchise has – three consecutive Lombardis – while keeping them on a methodical track to possibly catch or even exceed the Pats Brady / Belichick.
Krueger: It would be the only thing Tom Brady and Bill Belichick did not accomplish. The conversation for the quarter-back / head coach duo of all time begins and ends with these two the summit above all is said and done. Brady won three super bowls before his 30th birthday. Mahomes, who will be 30 years old in September, has already reached this brand. A fourth would keep it well at the rate to equalize / Top Brady of Brady, and perhaps much faster.
What is a daring prediction for Sunday’s match?
Carter: I think the chiefs will be the first team to stop Barkley a little. KC’s defense adapts to the forces of the other team, and no strength of the team is more clearly in the race game. I plan a frustrating outing for Barkley.
Divorchak: Kansas City keeps Saquon Barkley in check. Chiefs were one of the best teams to prevent explosive races this year. Steve Spagnuolo will make Jalen Hurts Bat him.
Jackson: Jalen Hurts will be convincingly the MVP of the Super Bowl on my real choice in Saquon Barkley (you see what I did there). Hurts is right there with Patrick Mahomes with regard to mental tenacity on the field for the quarter-rear, and he is one of the best pocket passers-by in football.
Daugherty: That there will be no surprise. These are two teams engaged in the execution. Neither will try to reinvent the wheel on Sunday of the Super Bowl. Whoever plays the best brand of his “regular football” will win.
Krueger: A game of passes of the Eagles, which ranked 29th in yards per game and 32nd in attempted passes per game, surprises the general public with a few explosive games that they have not seen. People who assimilate the totals of raw passes to the overall quality of the offensive attack of a team would be surprised to know that this season, the game of the Eagles has ranked fourth as a percentage of completion adjusted on the more passes 10 air yards (60.6%) and had the sixth highest explosive play rate – games that have generated 20 or more yards – among teams this season (10.9%) in the air. It should also be noted, by PFF, that the chiefs have equaled to the giants for the ninth more explosive deaths (54) this season.

Will Brown direct the Super Bowl Lix in the reception lessons?
Patrick Daugherty and Denny Carter debate who will have the most reception sites in the Super Bowl Lix, wondering if Travis Kelce will have a vintage game and if Aj Brown can enjoy a good match.
How do you see things playing on Sunday?
Carter: I find it difficult to imagine a game with a game script laterally here. Like almost all the matches of the chiefs, I think it comes down to the fourth quarter, and no one is better in the end of game situations than Mahomes. He is simply unbeatable in these scenarios. I say that the chiefs win 27-24.
Divorchak: The chiefs win a tight match, 27-20 with a little magic of Mahomas and better execution in high-level spots. The haters cry “faked” when the best quarter of all time deploys his opponent, and one of the best coaches of all time cutting his opponent. Who could have seen this coming?
Jackson: I see the Eagles stick to the race against the chiefs (unlike the invoices of the AFC championship) and it is effective. If not, prepare for AJ Brown, Devonta Smith and Dallas Goedert. The match goes down, but the Eagles retire late and beat the chiefs 34-24.
Daugherty: Like all chiefing games in recent memory. They never really move away, but the opposition never really threatens. The final will be close. It will indeed be * near. It will not really feel that. The chiefs earn a certain variation of a 24-21 ball game.
Krueger: The chiefs have undergone a “legitimate” defeat this season, which took place in a defeat of 30-21 against the Bills of week 11. It requires an almost perfect effort to beat the chiefs. The Eagles run well and have the parts in place to bring this team of chiefs to fall on a given Sunday. That said, the chiefs always have the advantage of the head coach and the quarter-arre and are 60 minutes from the creation of history. Although they are not always flashy, they are effective. I expect Reid and Mahomes to find meters to everything that the Eagles are launching and leaving victorious in a 24-20 victory.
