Storm Announces 2024 Themed Games

SEATTLE — The Seattle Storm today unveiled its themed game schedule for its 2024 regular season home games at Climate Pledge Arena.

The 2024 season begins with Opening Night Presented by Providence Swedish on Tuesday, May 14, as the Storm host the Minnesota Lynx at 7:00 p.m. The Storm kicks off its 25th season by offering a unique promotion that night, with the first 5,000 fans receiving a commemorative piece of the championship court.
The Storm Annual Toy Drive to Benefit Seattle Children’s Charity The game will be played on Saturday, May 25 against the Washington Mystics. Fans are encouraged to bring toys and drop them off in the specially marked containers outside Climate Pledge Arena on game night. Additionally, fans can purchase items through an Amazon Wish List starting May 16. Storm Center Ezi Magbégor and other players will then deliver the gifts to patients at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
A big fan favorite Pride Night presented by Amazon returns in 2024 as Seattle takes on the Dallas Wings on Saturday, June 29 at 6:00 p.m. A special gift is planned for fans attending the game, as well as special programming and in-game activations to be announced in early June.
Storm over STEM Kid’s Day presented PacSci— another fan favorite — is scheduled for Wednesday, July 10 against the reigning WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces. Kids from across the Puget Sound region are invited to come cheer on the Storm while learning STEM at various locations throughout Climate Pledge Arena. The day will also feature a special kids’ giveaway and kid-themed programming throughout the day.
Women’s Faith Day presented by Symetra The annual event, held since 2006, honors Seattle-area business and civic leaders of color driven by their shared philosophy that women and girls should have the opportunity to succeed at every level, regardless of race, ethnicity or gender. The 2024 honorees will be announced in mid-June.
The Tempest teams up once again with the Swedish Cancer Institute Providence for Storm Out Cancer Party on Friday, August 30 against the New York Liberty. The ninth annual event encourages fans to help raise awareness for cancer research while supporting the Providence Swedish Cancer Institute Patient Assistance Fund. Additionally, a giveaway is planned for the game with more information to come!
The 2024 Kicks for equality game presented by Symetra and supported by Bank of America and BECU The game will take place on Saturday, September 7, when the Storm take on the Phoenix Mercury at 6:00 p.m. The evening will also feature the return of Sneakerball, a unique event in the ultra-premium Moët & Chandon Impérial Lounge at Climate Pledge Arena, designed to celebrate the convergence of fashion and sneaker culture. Sneakerball invites guests to express their creative fashion sense and pair it with their coolest footwear. Fans will also have the opportunity to bid on custom player-worn sneakers representing their respective social justice initiatives, designed by artist Breanna Berry.
The Storm ends the 2024 regular season with Fan Appreciation Night Presented by Coinbasetaking on the Las Vegas Aves on Tuesday, September 17. The evening includes prizes, giveaways, a special halftime show and more as Seattle prepares for a potentially deep playoff run later in the week.
