The Stanford women’s golf team has not lost in the stroke game (or the game game) for almost a year.
The cardinal came from behind Tuesday to capture the Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate in Colonial in Fort Worth, Texas, at the top of land which included five of the first 10 teams in the country. Stanford, the best, pulled 3 sub -rounds, even finishing for the tournament, beating the Oregon by two shots. Auburn and Wake Forest equally in the third place at 6.
Stanford, the defending national champion, won the six starts of the stroke of the stroke this season, and dating from the 2023-24 campaign, he won nine consecutive events. The Stanford 2022-23 team is the only one to have more victories in a single season (7), and Cardinal still has a chance to join the women of the 1995 Arizona State as the only team to be invaded in a year.

Oregon finished second for the third time in four spring events. The Ducks won their other departure at the Alice and John Wallace’s female golf classic.
