The 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue which hit newsstands Friday celebrates 60 years of Waves as an annual cultural marker.

This year’s edition is as star-studded as ever: from a Kansas City businesswoman and NFL wife Brittany Mahomes cover the stars Chrissy Teigen And “CBS Mornings” host Gayle King Taking center stage at almost 70, acclaimed franchise editor MJ Day and her team are taking it one step further as they celebrate six decades.

This year’s SI Swimsuit range also includes Chanel ImanChristen Harper, host Kamie Crawford, Katie Austin and Louisiana State University gymnastics star Olivia “Livvy” Dunne. Rookies to SI Swimsuit’s roster include Brittany MahomesJena Sims, Lori Harvey and Big 12 athletes Alexa Massari, Jasmine Williams and Jillian Hayes.

Who are the cover stars of the 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue?

This year’s cover models include King, Teigen and Swimsuit Issue mainstay. Hunter McGrady And Number icon and actress Kate Upton. There is also a trilogy of special collectible covers that were captured during the filming of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Legends 60th Anniversary, which commemorated the 60th anniversary of the franchise.

In addition to King, McGrady, Teigen and Upton, Legends cover stars include trans activist Leyna Bloom; model Camille Kostek; 80s icon Christie Brinkley; model Tyra Banksfamous soccer player Megan Rapinoe; media mogul Martha Stewart; WNBA legend Sue Bird; and lifestyle guru Molly Sims.

Models Jasmine Sanders, Kate Love, Lily Aldridge, Lori Harvey, Maye MuskNina Agdal and Winnie Harlow also turn heads on the covers of Legends. The seven covers were photographed by “America’s Next Top Model” Alumnus Yu Tsai.

Gayle King and Brittany Mahomes Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Cover Stun

This year’s swimsuit issue features bold fashion on stars with outspoken personalities to match.

Brittany Mahomes stunned in a series of costumes, including a red one-piece suit, a textured red bikini and a floral two-piece bikini. The current owner of KC also shared a behind-the-scenes video during release week on Instagram which she paired with a close friend’s “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” Taylor Swift New album “The Department of Tortured Poets.”

“I think I align perfectly with the vision of SI Maillot de bain because I am always unapologetically myself in any setting. I want women to feel empowered to always be themselves, to love themselves and feel confident in everything they do and I think SI Maillot de bain does that too, ” Mahomes told the fashion magazine about its spread.

Gayle King, co-anchor of “CBS Mornings”, who was caught on the cover earlier this week of the CBS morning show, is no stranger to a colorful wardrobe. But his one-piece suits ranged from yellow to from peach suits to a black suit paired with a matching mesh cover-up.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Release Date

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue was released on May 17.

It is available on newsstands at gas stations, grocery stores, and big box stores like Walmart and Target across America. You can also purchase the issue online at Sports Illustrated website here.
