(CNN) — Former tennis player Jennifer Capriati is recovering in a South Florida hospital after what a spokeswoman described as an accidental prescription drug overdose.
Spokeswoman Lacey Wickline said the medication was prescribed by Capriati’s personal physician. The tennis star is “making a full and rapid recovery,” Wickline said.
The exact time is unclear, but the overdose is believed to have occurred Saturday evening or early Sunday. Capriati, 34, is listed in stable condition, Wickline said.
