The PGA Tour is finally back.
The PGA Tour’s 2026 season opens this week with its annual trip to Hawaii, although it was cut in half this time due to drought concerns in Maui and around Kapalua. The Sentry, which is normally the first event of the season, was completely canceled in September.

The season will therefore begin with the Sony Open in Hawaii, on O’ahu. There are four top 10 players in the Official World Golf Rankings in the field this week, including Russell Henley and reigning US Open champion JJ Spaun. U.S. Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley is also in the field, along with Jordan Spieth, Collin Morikawa, Tony Finau and Hideki Matsuyama, to name a few.
Here’s everything you need to know and how much money is officially up for grabs this week in Honolulu.
