The pace of the game was a major discussion between professional ranks and fans to start 2025, covering several tours and many events. This conversation branched up to include many subjects, one of those who are Aimpoint.
A The PGA Tour Pros even couple has been back and forth About Aimpoint and if it should be prohibited. Since it has become popular among the pros, fans have not missed a chance to call players who use it and slow down the pace of play for their group.
And during the weekend, a screenshot of an LPGA player using it sent social media to a storm of fire.
A Lim Kim had a birdie attempt on the fourth hole per-3 on Saturday in the third round of the Honda Lpga Thailand, and she struck a solid putt which was running a little more than one foot in. She headed for her ball, but before hitting him, made her routine Aimpoint to feel the slope of the green, and the screenshot speaks of itself.
Kim did the putt and she finished sixth for the week at 17 years old. She won the opening of the LPGA season earlier this month in Florida. But the Aimpoint routine on Putt Court has produced numerous social media reactions.
Imagine now a 15 -year -old tournament.

I would like someone to be affiliated with Aimpoint to tell me exactly what it does for the golfer in this photo.

It is difficult to defend what it looks like. It is understandable that pros want to be comfortable on each level due to the size of a difference that a blow can make when the check reaches the bank account, but these responses are only a small fraction of this that fans had to say.
Now, as Meg Adkins of Fried Egg points out in the video below, the movement seems worse than it was really. Just before the video goes to the following photo, Kim can be seen when leaving her Aimpoint routine and preparing to press the putt.
I am anti-Matrice. It is a nightmare game rhythm and he has to go. That being said, watch the video and you can see a Lim intervene to type it almost immediately before the video cuts. Yes, it looks ridiculous, but there are many more Aimpoint examples there https://t.co/rqeowsijg6 pic.twitter.com/bycxggpkww

Two things can be true: Aimpoint seems a little useless at this time, and it was not as bad as a single screenshot did it. Nevertheless, in the social media era, everyone is able to share their opinions, and there were many about Kim’s Tap-in.
