Rankings of various events based on provincial/approved tournaments played in 2023 in Sindh

KARACHI:

The Sindh Tennis Association has released its annual rankings of various events based on provincial/sanctioned tournaments played in 2023 in Sindh.

The first 4 positions are as follows.

In men’s singles, the first place goes to Zubair Raja of Karachi Club, he got 140 points accumulated, Vinod Das of Defense Authority Club, is in 2nd position with 120 points, Ibrahim Iltifat of Karachi Club & Modern Club, is in 3rd position with 115. points and Baqir Ali from Shamsi Tennis Academy and Mirpur Mathelo, Sindh, is in 4th position with 110 ranking points accumulated.

Eschelle Asif of Continental Tennis Academy leads with 145 ranking points accumulated in the women’s singles event. Daliah Ashraf 2nd with 80 points, Hibah Rizwan 3rd with 35 points, and Aiman ​​Haris and Suraya Bus, both are in 4th position with 30 ranking points accumulated each.

Ahsan Ahmed of Continental Tennis Academy is ranked first in under-17 junior singles with 100 points, Ismail Aftab of Modern Club is 2nd with 65 points, Aisamul Haq of Agha Khan University is in 3rd position with 60 points and Kashan Tariq from Modern Club is 4th. position with 55 ranking points

In under-15 singles, Nibras Malik of Malir won first place with 130 points, Syed Mahd Shehzad of Avari Towers and Civil Aviation Club in 2nd position with 60 ranking points, Ruhab Faisal of South End Club and Hazik Areejo from Base Line Tennis Academy jointly in 3rd position with 40 points each. Bilal Ikram of Shamsi Academy, Arham Shezad of Karachi Gymkhana and Ismail Aftab of Modern Club are jointly in 4th position with 35 points each.

In girls under 17 singles, Eschelle Asif is leading with 65 points, Inaya Sayyed in 2nd position with 50 points, Daliah Ashraf in 3rd position with 40 points and Haya Yousuf in 4th position with 35 points.

In Under-13 singles, Ismail Aftab of Modern Club won first place with 90 points, Yahya Haleem of Avari Towers and Creek Club in 2nd position with 60 points, Eschelle Asif and Arman Ali secured 55 points each and won 3rd place, Zain Nomi from Avari Towers in 4th position with 50 points,

Syed Muhammad Sufyan and Syed Muhammad Abdullah won 75 points each and tied for first place in Under-11 singles, Arsh Imran in 2nd position with 70 points, Nayyel Sohaib of Continental Tennis Academy in 3rd position with 65 points , Tariq Rafi of Ocean Siddiqsons in 4th position with 55 points.

Azan Imran leads in under-8 singles with 100 ranking points accumulated, Dua Yousuf 2nd with 80 points, Ariz Ayaz 3rd with 50 points, while Ali Zaman and Hanzalah gained 40 points each and secured 4th position.

In wheelchair tennis, Fida Hussain of Pak Navy is leading with 60 points, Muhammad Ayub Khan in 2nd position with 40 points, Muhammad Irfan and Imran Siddiqui both won 30 points each and secured 3rd position.

In the men’s singles beach tennis event, Fahim Ramzan of Coast Guard Sports Complex is in first position with 50 points, Sheeraz Bhand of Hyderabad Gymkhana & Dadu, in 2nd position with 40 points, Dr. Khalid Unsmani of TandoJam Agricultural University in third position with 35 points, Eibad Sarwar of Continental Academy in 4th position with 30 points.

In Beach Tennis Ladies Singles Muneeba of Dukhter e Mashriq, Govt, Girls College is leading with 80 ranking points, Yumna Malik, 2nd with 40 points, Tehreem Yousuf at 3rd place with 35 points, Qudsia Raja and Afshan Fatima at 4th position with 20 points each
