Antonio Conte looks set to stick to the same Naples lineup like the one that drew 0-0 with Juventus last weekend for Sunday’s visit from Monza to Series Awith the Partenopei set to continue in a 4-3-3 to accommodate former Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay.
Conte explained last weekend that McTominay’s qualities inspired the move from a three-back system to a 4-3-3fitting in well alongside Stanislav Lobotka and Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa.
That same midfield is likely to be found behind the front three of Matteo Politano, Romelu Lukaku and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, although summer signing David Neres is also pushing for a start on one of the flanks.
Alex Meret remains injured, so Elia Caprile will continue in goal for the Partenopei.
Monza are not expected to make many changes from last week’s 2-1 loss to Bolognaalthough there could be room for Gianluca Caprari and Warren Bondo.
Kick-off is scheduled for 7:45 p.m. BST.
