Serena Williams joins the property group of the Wgb First Canadian franchise, the Toronto tempo, the team announced on Monday.
She will associate herself with Larry Tanenbaum, president of Kilmer Sports Ventures for the Tempowhich will start to play in the 2026 season.

Williams, one of the biggest tennis players in history, will play an active role in the future conceptions of Jersey.
She made her professional debut in tennis at 14 at a tournament in Canada in 1995, and her latest event was US Open 2022. Williams won 23 single home titles – the most per woman in the open sport era – plus 14 other major female double trophies alongside her older sister, Venus.

Williams is the last former professional athlete to join a WNBA ownership group. Magic Johnson, Tom Brady, Dwyane Wade and Renee Montgomery are already owners.
This is not the first property company for Williams. She has a participation in the Angel City FC women’s football team. She also holds minority participations in Miami dolphins as well as the Los Angeles Golf Club of TGL, the Virtual Golf League league led by the stars of PGA Tiger Williams and Rory Mcilroy.
Williams’s husband Alexis Ohanian donated millions of dollars to the Virginia women’s basketball program last year. He graduated from the school.
