Like us wrote Before this poll, Nets fans were hoping for 2024 NBA Finals would offer some comfort. Instead, it’s just another reminder of the past, whether of mistakes or things that just didn’t work out.
Kyrie Irving leads the Mavericks to the final alongside Luka Doncic. Jason Kidd is the head coach and, like Irving, he left on troubling terms. On the Boston side, it’s been a bit of the same thing since the famous 2013 exchange which ultimately led to the Celtics landing Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
