We asked this week’s question on April 1, before Houston’s games against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Warriors of the Golden State and Miami Heat – all of which ended in losses. So with my results a little delayed and Houston’s tournament chances completely up in smoke, it became kind of — did we time it right? Here are the results :

As you can see, most TDS got it right. In fact, two-thirds of you predicted there would be no tournament for the Rockets, and with Houston’s loss last night to the Dallas Mavericks, we’re about to start looking ahead to next season. But the fact that a third of us thought she would pull it off says a lot about the progress this team has made. The Rockets are definitely on the rise. Where they go from there remains to be seen.
