Week 8 is here and there is nothing to worry about this week, but you should look ahead because weeks 9 and 10 look tough. We’re also reaching the time of year where weather starts to become a factor highlighted by temperatures expected around 30 degrees at kickoff in Denver tomorrow. Keep working every week and remember to plan ahead to get through these off weeks.
Question #1 โ Start/Sit
Start 2 (.5PPR): Devonta Smith, Jordan Addison, Dell Tank โ Sammyaces
Answer: It’s really a choice between Devonta Smith And Dell Tank Since Jordan Addison is a plug-and-play startup. There was a little debate between these two, but the smarter start is clear and it would have to be Smith. I think the debate may come from a perception problem. Dell has an excellent start to his career with another rookie CJ Stroud. Meanwhile, Smith is having a somewhat disappointing year considering he was selected in the drafts highlighted by a 6-yard stinker in Week 5. Despite this, Smith has had five or more targets in every game this year. Dell has only gone over five targets twice and he’s coming off an injury. Dell can leave at any time with only a few targets, but the smart play remains Smith.
Question #2 โ Start/Sit
Ridley bounces back this week? -Durrel
Answer: I’m not sure that Calvin Ridley we have is the Calvin Ridley we expected based on ADP. Jacksonville’s aerial attack seems rather well balanced with Christian Kirk And Evan Engram being the most reliable reception options. Zay Jones and Ridley appear to play more minor roles. If this is true, then we can’t count on Ridley in any given week, but that doesn’t mean he can’t play an important role in any given week. With Zay Jones This week, Ridley should see five or more targets and the game against Pittsburgh is juicy, but rain is forecast for the game. I think Ridley is worthy of flexibility this week, but I don’t see that rebounding we’re looking for more than 100 yards.
Question no. 3 โ Professions
Should I trade Waddle and Hollywood for Amon Ra? – Literally
Answer: Marquise Brown has been the subject of numerous commercial scenarios. I like this type of trade scenario for most leagues. I like simple decisions. Departure Amon-Ra St. Brown is always an easy starting decision. Choose through Jaylen Waddle And Marquise BrownGood games are more difficult. I’d probably go anyway, but deeper numbers and benches tend to play better in leagues with larger starting rosters like the Scott Fish Bowl where you can start up to 6 WRs.
Question #4 โ Week off
So this is off topic…maybe this helps some. But I thought week 7 was a bad bye week. Week 10 is absolutely disgusting. Why would the NFL do this to us!! I have 5 byes in week 10. โLarry Hoover
Answer: I don’t know what the NFL thinks about bye weeks. You’d think they’d give bye weeks to scheduling quirks like road games, games played in close proximity to each other, or other factors. It amazes me how some teams end up getting huge advantages from schedule while others benefit from brutal stretches of games or why you have so many teams bye one week and none the next. But that’s just me.
The reason I chose that quip wasn’t really the NFL’s policy on byes. It was the comment โI have 5 goodbyes in week 10โ that reminded me of one of my favorite snide exchanges and this is the perfect time to do it. Most leagues will have many 4-3 and 3-4 type teams. Every victory is critical. If I have a team that is looking for a playoff chance but I’m not feeling too confident, I’ll try to make a move to secure a win during a certain week. In Larry’s case here, I would look to see who I play in Week 10 and do a package that would send two or three of those Week 10 players to his team. I’m mainly looking to get back one or two players who have already had their bye. This way you can manufacture an extra week or two of production from the players you get back and hopefully guarantee at least one win in the future.
A theoretical profession may look like Tua Tagovailoa (10) and Puka Nacua (10) for Joe Burrow (7) and Keenan Allen (5) to the team I play in Week 10. I might even add a little extra sweetener to seal the deal.
Question #5 โ Start/Sit
Rashee Rice Or Amari Cooper? โ Saint Christopher
Answer: It’s interesting because Rashee Rice has a clear advantage in the game, but it will be around 30 degrees in Denver at kickoff. Players, especially beginners, who don’t have much experience playing matches in cold weather tend to have a difficult time in such low temperatures, especially when they haven’t had the opportunity to s acclimatize to winter temperatures.
On the other hand, Amari Cooper struggled with the chaotic QB situation in Cleveland. Frankly, I’m undecided and even Footballers have these two almost back to back. Honestly, I’d rather take a chance on someone else, like Dell Tank.
