The show surprised everyone except the show-woman. After Sabrina Ionescu turned July’s All-Star 3-point contest into a solo show, 25 of his 27 attempts in the final and eclipsing records in both the WNBA and NBA versions of the event — she didn’t feign humility or credit a lucky streak.

“I shouldn’t have missed two,” she said.
