Marcus Rashford’s future will likely be determined this 2024-25 season with Ruben Amorim taking over the Manchester United job. What’s more, the Portuguese boss is ready to get in on the action with the Englishman.
Last month, TEAMTalk reported that Paris Saint-Germain to have has renewed his interest in Rashford. Although the challenges that blocked a summer transfer still exist, the Ligue 1 club could try to sign him again next year.
Rashford will work under new manager Amorim, who is now in charge at Manchester United after the FIFA international break. TEAMTalk notes that Rashford optimistic about Amorim’s arrivalseeing it as a new opportunity to get back into shape.
Is this Marcus Rashford’s last chance to stay at Old Trafford?
GIVE ME SPORTS Dean Jones report that Amorim is set to give Rashford a chance to impress as the number 9 in his 3-4-3 system at Manchester United.
Despite this opportunity, talkSPORT’s Alex Crook recently suggested that Amorim could quickly realize that the striker is not suited to his system, which would be a disaster given that he is one of the highest-paid players at the club.
“I’m not convinced about his place under Ruben Amorim, because we know he wants to play this 3-4-3 formation, it’s more of a formation two in behind a central striker, rather than with true wingers, as Rashford clearly prefers to play,” Crook said.
“So it wouldn’t surprise me if, over time, when Ruben Amorim gets his feet under the desk, he realizes that Rashford doesn’t really have the tools to do the job he wants, and then Manchester United I have a very well paid player who doesn’t really fit.
