La Gazzetta du Sport reports that Napoli have reached an agreement with João Gomes’ agents for next season, but the Partenopei have yet to reach an agreement with Wolves.

According to Gazzetta, Naples Director Giovanni Manna is a big admirer of the Brazilian, which is why he was quick to book a move for next summer.
João Gomes, however, has a long-term contract with Wolves, given that his contract expires in 2030 and even includes an option to extend for another campaign.

Therefore, Napoli have to negotiate with the English club who sit at the bottom of the Premier League table with just seven points from 21 games.

Napoli have made several Premier League purchases in recent years, including Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, Billy Gilmour, Scott McTominay and Rasmus Hojlund.
João Gomes has joined Wolves from Flamengo in an €18.7 million deal in 2023. He has provided one assist in 24 appearances in all competitions this season.
