The owner of the cowboys, Jerry Jones, minimized the idea that the team will be aggressive in free agency during the offseason, but they would have played a game for one of the biggest names even on the free market.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that cowboys are Push Large Cooper Kupp receiver. Kupp was published by Rams earlier this week.
The cowboys did not have a strong complementary receiver to associate with Ceedee Lamb during the 2024 season and the signature of Kupp would allow them to avoid the same fate this time.
Several other teams have been mentioned as potential landing points for the offensive player of the year in 2021 and Dianna Russini from Theathletic reports that the Seahawks are also interested in signing it. Schefter added that a decision concerning their next team could arrive on Friday, so we will not need to wait a long time to find out where Kupp will catch passes in 2025.
