RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State Athletics and head men’s soccer coach George Kiefer have mutually agreed to part ways, Athletic Director Boo Corrigan announced today. Kiefer has been head coach since November 2016.
“We would like to thank George for his contributions to NC State and wish him the best in his future endeavors,” Corrigan said.
Kiefer finishes his time at NC State with a record of 49-52-23 overall and a mark of 12-28-14 in ACC play. His first three Wolfpack teams earned NCAA Tournament bids.
A national search for Kiefer’s successor will begin immediately.
