A Real Madrid The theme park will arrive in the Middle East in late 2023. The Spanish super club has announced an agreement with Dubai Parks and Resorts to launch the park in the fourth quarter of next year.
Real Madrid described him as an innovative experience for fans of all ages. They can immerse themselves in one of the best clubs in the world, even if it is quite far from the club itself.
Some of the interactive experiences include football matches. For example, expect things like frame games, in which players have to throw a ball through certain holes in a sheet. Or maybe things like football darts. However, the experiences don’t stop at just football matches. Real Madrid and Dubai Parks and Resorts have mentioned rides and museums dedicated to the team’s illustrious history. There is no information on what type of rides are included, whether roller coasters or just flat rides.
When it comes to the history of Real Madrid, the theme park also plans a museum and a place to buy souvenirs for the club.
This isn’t Real Madrid’s first theme park
Although the idea of a theme park around a single club seems bizarre, this is not Real Madrid’s first foray into the field.
In the early 2010s, Real Madrid explicitly considered launching a theme park. The experience would include roller coasters, player holograms, a marina shaped like the Real Madrid crest and a 10,000-seat stadium with one end open onto the beach. Of course, there would also be a resort to stay at.
However, due to financial problems with the transaction and a number of arrests for fraud, the project failed. Real Madrid have removed any indication of their involvement in the park from their website as they have not recovered any money from investors.
The Middle East is not new to specific theme parks for organizations or teams. In fact, in Dubai, the Ferrari World theme park is a popular spot for theme park enthusiasts, regardless of their affinity for the car manufacturer. This park has roller coasters and a number of cars on display.
In essence, it could look like any Real Madrid theme park, if the project comes to fruition as planned.
