Rangers great writer Chris (Foodini) Drury has made it clear that his super scorer Breadman Panarin will be out there as a free agent waiting to be dealt.
Obviously, the idea is that by entering into such a comprehensive agreement, the Rangers will get a juicy return, suitable for chasing rainbows and sky coins.

But wait: shouldn’t Drury store his Hope Diamond? What happens if Bready is fried with the kind of injury that landed Adam Fox somewhere in the mothballs?
As Sean McCaffrey points out in Blue Collar Blue Shirt, playing Panarin these days, from a hockey perspective, is worse than walking a mile on hot coals.
“It’s like the Rangers are begging for their biggest asset to suffer some sort of season-ending injury,” McCaffrey said. “If that happens, it would kill any chance Drury has of trading him.”
Excellent point. Which begs the question: Should the Rangers give Bready a sabbatical before the trades? Yes or no, please!
