Rangers have completed the signing of Birmingham City midfielder Charlie Devlin on a loan deal for the remainder of the season.
Gers announced the news via a post on their club’s official website not long ago.
The 26-year-old will be reunited with the Rangers head coach Jo Potter during his time north of the border. The pair had previously worked together at Birmingham City before Potter’s departure last summer.
Devlin has spent the last two seasons with Birmingham City. She initially joined the club on loan from Leicester City for the 2022/2023 season. Devlin signed for the Blues on a permanent basis last summer. He has one year remaining on his contract at St Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park.
The midfielder spent his youth with Arsenal before joining Millwall Lionesses. In 2018/2019, Devlin became a member of the first ever full-time professional team Manchester United She won the Barclays Women’s Championship title with the club that year. After a brief spell at Charlton Athletic, Devlin repeated the feat with Leicester City who were promoted to the Barclays Women’s Super League in 2020/21. The player spent three and a half seasons on the Foxes’ books before signing for their latest club, Birmingham City.
Devlin could make his debut for the club on loan from Rangers when they host the Spartans on Sunday afternoon.
