Rangers say they have received numerous reports from fans and teams regarding issues at Porto’s stadium during the Europa League defeat and will “continue these discussions with the relevant parties”.
Rangers will be gathering further information on the complaints, with reports suggesting visiting fans were held inside the Estadio do Dragao for up to two hours on Thursday evening after the match. Defeat 3-1.

Djeidi Gassama gave Danny Rohl’s side the lead, but the home side fought back to win and leave Rangers in 32nd place out of 36 teams in the Europa League stage.
A Rangers statement read: “Following the match in Porto, we received several reports from supporters and staff regarding problems in and around the stadium.
“This is not what anyone who would have traveled to support Rangers would have faced, and we share the concern, anger and frustration felt by those affected.
“We will collect complaints and comments and will pursue this process with the affected parties.”
