Randal Kolo Muani (25) has struggled to find playing time at Paris Saint-Germain this season. Although he made nine appearances in all competitions, only two of them were starts.
With chances hard to come by and with the French international seemingly needing to convince Luis Enrique every time he takes the field, Kolo Muani can’t afford too many performances like the one he had against the ‘OGC Nice Sunday evening.
In the 1-1 draw at the Allianz Riviera, Kolo Muani was a ghost, making just 17 touches, losing the ball eight times and completing just six of his nine attempted passes. It is therefore not surprising that he did not reappear in the second half.
He was replaced by Lee Kang-in, who had a more impactful appearance. Speaking at a post-match press conference, attended by Receive French football news, Luis Enrique has explained, or perhaps not, his decision to replace Kolo Muani.
