It is an open question for now which actually ends in EA Sports College Football 25but that doesn’t mean people on the forums aren’t already to dream of that they might have the opportunity to use once summer arrives.
The added element to this – for better or worse – is that people are also thinking about Ultimate Team to some extent, because it’s obvious that it’s going to be in EA’s game as well. So it’s not just current college players that people are dreaming about, they’re also thinking about former greats who will be wearing the jersey again.

With this in mind, the operating system user Madden08PCgmr highlighted some of the potential names that could be part of EA Sports College Football 25:
- Barry Sanders
- Charles Woodson
- Pierre Warrick
- Charlie Ward
- Mike Vick
- Corey Dillon
- Ron Dayne
- Ricky Williams
The list of former legends could be insane, which is why we’re probably underestimating how lucrative this college game could be by tapping into that nostalgia — even if it’s obviously a bit predatory given how desperate many of us are to just play a college football game again.
Now, there are certainly a fair share of QBs that are on people’s lists so far, and I have my own list that would include Liberty QB Kaidon Salter. Mobile quarterbacks have just hit differently in college football games in the past – maybe because it feels like your QBs can really be do-it-all monsters – and so using a versatile QB from a small school is right up my alley.
Ultimately, EA won’t really be able to decide who will actually make it into the game, so we’ll have to keep an eye on things once April and May roll around to see what the rosters look like, but in the meantime, it’s fun to dream about the possibilities.
