Dunedin, Florida – The Manager of Phillies, Rob Thomson, said that the team was “not really on well -concentrated at all” about Bryce Harper after the Philadelphia Slugger left Wednesday’s exhibition match against Toronto when he was struck on an arm by a field.
Thomson told journalists that Harper had a bruise on his right arm after being hit by the 92 MPH of the Gaucher Blue Jays Richard Lovelady.
“We will check it tomorrow, but it is a bruise in the triceps region,” said Thomson, according to NBC Sports Philadelphia, who said that Harper had been planned for a day off on Thursday.
Four players were touched by throws in the game. Lovelady was also accused of wild land.
“It’s a training in early spring, so guys don’t order them,” said Thomson. “There were a bunch of guys struck today. I can’t speak for the child but maybe he was a little nervous, it’s Bryce Harper. It’s baseball.
