Cauley budwho played junior golf in Jacksonville, is the focus of the first episode of a current affairs series produced at PGA Tour Studios on Ponte Vedra Beach.
“Mindful,” a documentary series that looks at the mental game of golf and how players cope with the stress of golf on Tour, will debut Jan. 15 at 10 a.m. on the PGA Tour YouTube channel, pgatour.com, and on Tour social media channels. It will highlight a different player or story in golf.

The series is the latest production from PGA Tour Studios, which includes the four-time Emmy-nominated “Scottie 24” Player of the Year series. Scottie Scheffler“Xander Embedded,” featuring major champion Xander Schauffele, and “Truth or Putt.”

Cauley, who suffered serious injuries in a car accident in 2018, will explore how he managed to become competitive again on the PGA Tour. Viewers will hear from Cauley, his friends and family as he reflects on his recovery and the mental strength needed to return.
Cauley missed nearly two full seasons. Last year, he finished 47th on the FedEx Cup points list, with four top-10 finishes. He ranks tied for sixth at the Players Championship and enters the 2026 season ranked 70th in the world.

RSM Classic back for year 17
The PGA Tour has announced its 2026 FedEx Cup fall schedule and the Golden Isles of Georgia will once again serve as the backdrop for the season finale.
The eight-event series begins September 17-20 with a new tournament, the Biltmore Championship in Asheville, North Carolina at The Cliffs at Walnut Grove. This will be the first Tour event in the Blue Ridge Mountains since the Asheville Open in 1942. It concludes with the RSM Classic From November 19 to 22, an unmissable fall event since 2010.

The VidantaWorld Mexico Open will take place from spring to fall, from October 29 to November 29. 1 in Vallarta, Mexico, with the World Technology Championship Nov. 5-8 the following week at the Tiger Woods-designed El Cardonal in Diamante in Los Cabos.

The Tour also returns to Austin, Texas, November 12-15 for the Good Good Championship at the Omni Barton Creek Resort, followed by the RSM Classic at the Sea Island Resort on St. Simons Island, Georgia.
Other events return to Utah, Japan and Bermuda.
All eight FedExCup Fall events will be broadcast on Golf Channel and World Feed, produced by PGA Tour Studios in Ponte Vedra Beach.
Golf Writers Vote Scottie Scheffler for Top Honor
The Golf Writers Association of America voted Scottie Scheffler as the 2025 Men’s Professional Player of the Year, receiving 62.7 percent of the vote against the winner of the Players Championship and Masters Rory McIlroy. Scheffler won his fourth PGA Tour Player of the Year award in a player vote in December.

The GWAA also honored Jeeno Thitikul as Women’s Player of the Year and Stewart Cink as Senior Player of the Year.
Scheffler has won six times, including the PGA and British Open titles. He has 17 top-10 finishes in 20 starts.
Thitikul, 22 and from Thailand, won three times, finishing by defending his title in the CME Group Tour Championship. She begins the 2026 season ranked first in the world.
Cink was a three-time PGA Tour Champions winner and won the Schwab Cup championship.
