The peppers were arrested early Saturday morning on multiple chargesincluding assault and battery on an intimate partner, battery with a dangerous weapon, strangulation and possession of cocaine. He posted $2,500 bail for the charges. His next court appearance is November 22, but his appearance is canceled.

Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo told reporters Wednesday that Peppers is allowed to attend team meetings under the rules, but will not be in the building “in the short term.”

Jerod Mayo says Jabrill Peppers is not in the building today. Relays that he understands the seriousness of the allegations. “I hope that’s not true.”
