Penn State’s recruitment course in 2027 is now at the top of the country.

Saturday, the Nittany Lions obtained a commitment from the 4 -star athlete Khalil Taylor, who ranks as a consensual player among the first 50 nationwide.

Taylor is from Seton-La Salle High School in Pittsburgh, where he ranks as a recruit n ° 3 in the state of Pennsylvania, according to the classification of the 247 composite sports. Taylor is at the 5 -star borderline status in the ranking of ON3 players, ranking like the overall recruit n ° 32.

He became the third member of the Star 2027 Star of Nittany Lions, which presents offensive tackle No. 4 of the country, Layton von Brandt, and n ° 3 of the running back in the country, Kemon Spell. The three rank in 4 stars and the 50 best recruits. Brandt is recruit n ° 1 of Delaware, while Spell ranks like perspective n ° 2 in the state.

Spell was the first recruit to join the class, which did it on August 2, 2024. When the half-door coach Ja’juan Seider left Penn State for the same role to Notre Dame, he extended an offer to spell. Although there is apparently a certain level of interest, Spell recently closed his commitment and is entirely locked up with the Nittany Lions.

Von Brandt was committed on November 9, 2024, and has not hesitated since, bringing several unofficial visits to the campus.

Although the cycle is starting to start, the trio ranks as a recruitment class n ° 1 at the start of Taylor’s engagement, jumping the Ohio State for first place.
