THE Pittsburgh penguins will try to rely on their sequence of four game victories when they face the New York Icelanders Tuesday at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
And they will give their hot goalkeeper again.
Tristan Jarry, who has a 4-0 sheet with a percentage of .930 stops on these four consecutive games, obtained a fifth consecutive departure. He regained his form after fighting over most of the season, and he will have another opportunity to win the Penguins a very necessary victory.

In addition, striker Joona Koppanen has been recalled from Wilkes-Barre / Scranon in an emergency and will put himself in the range in place of Emil Bemstrom.
"He can kill penalties, he can play a verification role, he can play in the center, he can play the wing," Head coach Mike Sullivan said. "The greatest reason (for the call), honestly, is because it has played very well."

In the current state of things, the Penguins are six points on the second point Joker of the Eastern Conference. The Icelanders – who are 5-4-1 in their last 10 games – are two points ahead of the Penguins in the standings with three games in hand, so winning two clean points will be critical.
"It’s a good team," Sullivan said. "These are a solid defensive team, they play with the structure, they have a team game. They have solid goalkeepers and they are essential defensively. We must therefore make sure that we will make them as difficult as to do it."
