Atlanta (AP) – Parker Kligerman Thursday lost his call After having his opening victory for the Nascar truck season in Daytona erased by disqualification.
Nascar disqualified Kligerman No. 75 on Friday evening when his truck was tried too low in a post-space inspection. Corey Heim was declared the new winner.
Kligerman immediately announced his intention to appeal the decision. This appeal was rejected Thursday by the National Appeal Sports Committee.
The panel confirmed the initial conclusion of NASCAR by governing “the panel confirms that it is more likely that a violation of rules has occurred and the disqualification sanctions in rule 10.5.2.4 require a disqualification of the race.”
The classification adjustment gave actor Frankie Muniz His first career top 10.
Kligerman withdrew from the full -time race at the end of last season and has a more important role as a television analyst this year. He did not enter the race for the series of Trucks of Atlanta on Saturday.
