Endrick was once again at his best during the victory which saw Palmeiras Race in first place in the Brazilian. The 17-year-old scored the second goal of the victory against Internacional with a powerful left-footed shot that crashed into the bottom corner of the goal, seeing the player get his fourth goal in his last four matches. Such a level of production in recent matches has been essential for the São Paulo team. keep their title hopes intact.

The future Real Madrid strikerwith this effort, recorded his ninth goal at the Brasileirão in the 59th minute of the game; in the 64th minute he was sent off, along with the manager Ferreira choosing to add new legs to the attack and keep the press high. The young man, who will arrive at real Madrid next July, was allowed to relax on the bench for the rest of the match, probably already with his mind is fixed on his first call-up with the Brazilian national team after being named to the team by Copa Libertadores victory coach, Fernando Diniz.

Endrick follows Neymar’s place

Endrick’s precociousness continues to break records and with this goal he has become the only player aged 17 or under to score nine goals in the Brasileirão since 2009. The last player to achieve the same feat at such a young age was none other than Neymar, who, wearing the Santos jersey, scored 10 goals.

The number ‘9’, which recently reached 50 games with Palmeiraswill now travel from Sao Paulo to Rio de Janeiro where Brazil will hold training sessions before traveling to Barranquilla to face Colombia. After that, they will return home to host Argentina on Tuesday, November 21.

Palmeiras hosted Internacional with pressure bubbling after the devastating 3-0 defeat against Flamengoand they had to do it without suspended captain Gustavo Gómez. The opposition started the match strong and generated several clear chances which could have given them the advantage in the game, without poor finish from Alan Patrick and Enner Valencia.

Endrick is set to travel with the Brazilian senior team for the first time after being called up by Diniz.MIGUEL SCHINCARIOLAFP

Endrick rested before his trip to Brazil

The first serious warning for the team coached by Abel Ferreira was created by Endrick with a flash of the right foot of a shot that crashed against the near post. Despite being in a tight stance and using his weaker foot, Endrick was still able to get out of it. a ferociously powerful effort that set the tone for the evening. Endrick’s performance as a whole was positively different, the player regularly appearing in unusual spaces in and around the box in order to creating deliciously inventive passing moves with his teammates.

Before the break, Palmeiras took the lead thanks to Zé Rafael and with the advantage on the scoreboard, they were able to defend with a calm sense of control. It was an ideal situation to maintain the score and wait to find the moment that would end the match. The opportunity presented itself thanks to furious pressure from Veiga, who gave the ball to Endrick at the edge of the area: the attacker did not hesitateturning his body and throwing a low kick past the goalkeeper from afar.

As the end of the match approaches the ball fell to Endrick’s replacement, Ronywho scored the third in the penalty area thanks to a fantastic sequence of plays from Vanderlan, who ran down the left wing and placed the ball at his feet with a precise cross. The third goal of the match was important for a truly legendary Palmeiras player whose future has been the subject of much debate during the season so far. However, there is no doubt about Endrick’s future: he will play for Real Madrid.
