In his debut with Breeze BC, Bueckers finished with 24 points as Breeze BC defeated Phantom BC 69-62. Next, Bueckers discussed the difference between physicality in Unrivaled and in the WNBA.
Essentially, she told Candace Parker that Unrivaled is a little more physical than the W.
“We all know the (WNBA) is physical, but Unrivaled, I think, is even more physical than that. And then not being able to have help, you’re basically on an island. So at times you’re going to have to accept being cooked.”
Last year, Bueckers finished his first season with the Wings, averaging 19.2 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. Recently, she also traveled to Durham, North Carolina to participate in training camp with the American team including Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, JuJu Watkins, Aliyah Boston and others.

Paige Bueckers isn’t waiting for her turn to flourish
Since she helped lead UConn to a national championship During his senior season, Bueckers didn’t miss a beat. She has maintained this excellence in her first WNBA season and now in Unrivaled.
In some cases, a highly touted newcomer is sometimes told to be patient and wait their turn. This is not the case with Bueckers. Additionally, she excels at virtually every level of the game: collegiate, professional and international.
If anything, Bueckers’ exploits in Unrivaled set the stage for what could happen in her second season in the WNBA.
