BALTIMORE – The Baltimore Orioles accepted the terms with Dylan Carlson on a one -year contract, $ 975,000, a few months after the voltiseur was not tense by the Rays of Tampa Bay.
Carlson was a choice of draft in the first round in 2016 by the Cardinals of St. Louis, and he struck 18 circuits in his first full season in 2021. Since then, however, he has only reached 16 years.
Carlson struck 0.209 with three circuits and 25 points produced in 96 games for cardinals and rays in 2024, but at 26, the Switch Hitter can still have advantages and can play the three outdoor places.
The Orioles lost the right defender Anthony Santander in Toronto via the Libre agency, and they added the Tyler O’Neill voltiseur. Cedric Mullins, Colton Cowser and Heston Kjerstad are also in the mixture to play playing time in the outside field of Baltimore.
Carlson’s agreement includes a bonus of $ 25,000 if it reaches 200 appearances on the plates.
