THE Oregon Ducks The men’s basketball team will be in Los Angeles today to take on the UCLA Bruins. This will be the Ducks‘ second Big Ten contest, as they fell to No. 24 USC Trojan horses at home, 82-77.
In the aftermath of the defeat, the players and head coach Dana Altman stated the lack of trust between the roster and coaching staff. With the team chemistry seemingly turned upside down and Oregon’s 4-4 record, getting a win against the Bruins on the road would be a huge morale booster.

They will need big performances from leaders like Jackson Shelstadshooting guard Takai Simpkins and above all forward Kwame Evans Jr. Center Nate Petit missed the game against USC and is a question mark against UCLA, so it is of utmost importance that the players on the court pick up the slack.
The Bruins enter with a 6-2 record, including 1-0 in conference play, after beating the Washington Huskies on the road by two points. They are led by forward Tyler Bilodeau and guard Skyy Clark, one of the most talented perimeter-interior duos in the Big Ten.
