Augusta, GA. (AP) – Mixed teams come to golf course at the Los Angeles Olympic Games.

Tuesday would be a day of training for women, and their competition would start from Wednesday to Saturday, one day before the end of summer matches.
The golf competition is planned for Riviera Country Club, a venerated stop of the PGA Tour which welcomed major championships. Riviera must accommodate the US Women’s Open for the first time in 2026, and the US Open returned in 2031.

A mixed team event would only require two more days for players who qualify for the Olympic Games. It is unlikely that one of the best players will participate the following week in a regular event of PGA Tour or LPGA Tour.
Scottie Scheffler won the male gold medal at the Paris 2024 Games by closing with a 62 in the National Golf. Lydia Ko won female gold in Paris – she won silver in Rio and bronze in Tokyo in 2021 – which also gave her points required for the LPGA renowned temple.
