Lehigh Valley Phantoms forward Olle Lycksell was named the AHL Player of the Week for the period ending December 22.
The 25-year-old had four goals and two assists with a plus-6 rating in two games last week.
Lycksell leads the Phantoms in assists (15) and points (24) in 25 games this season.
The Oskarshamn, Sweden native has 42 goals and 108 points in 116 career AHL games and six points in 27 career NHL games.
A sixth-round selection of the Philadelphia Flyers in 2017, Lycksell was recalled and played in his first NHL game of the season on December 21. He remained useless and recorded three shots on goal in 10:58 of ice time.
Lycksell is an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season, he signed a two-year contract with the Flyers in 2023.
