The first match of the The Steve Lutz era of Oklahoma State Basketball will feature a familiar Cowboys face.
Ancient OSU point guard Doug Gottlieb to make head coaching debut in Green Bay when the Phoenix visit Gallagher-Iba Arena on Nov. 4 for the season opener.
The Cowboys’ opener, along with a Dec. 14 showdown against Bedlam at Paycom Center, came as no surprise when the nonconference schedule was officially announced Thursday — an 11-game schedule that also includes games against in-state foes Tulsa and Oral Roberts.
Game times and television announcements will be announced at a later date, along with the Big 12’s 20-game schedule.
