Oklahoma The earliest The 2025 recruiting class took a hit Monday night. Defensive tackle Floyd Boucard announced via social media that he was retiring from the Sooners.
“I would like to thank the University of Oklahoma for welcoming me with open arms,” Boucard said. “It is after much thought, careful consideration and discussion with my family that I have made the decision to recommit and am now reopening my recruitment to all schools.”
Boucard was he would be visiting his hometown, Miami Hurricanes over the weekend, creating a shroud of mystery about the direction of his recruitment. He is considered a four-star prospect by Rivals and a three-star recruit by 247Sports and On3.
In addition to his offer from Oklahoma, Boucard also holds offers from Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Missouri, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, South Carolina, USC, Miami, Florida and Florida State.
The Sooners still have defensive linemen CJ Nickson, Trent Wilson, Ka’Mori Moore and Alexander Shieldknight committed to their 2025 recruiting class.
