Thunder trade to select Dillon Jones at 26th overall
New York sent the draft rights to Dillon Jones, the 26th overall pick, to OKC in exchange for five second-round picks spanning 2025-27.
Jones, 22, is a 6-foot-5 forward who averaged 20.8 points and 9.8 rebounds as a junior at Weber State last season. Although he has shot just 32 percent from 3-point range in his career, he is an aggressive prospect who gets to the basket at will and is an excellent defender.

Thunder select Nikola Topic with 12th overall pick
OKC selected Nikola Topic with the 12th overall pick.
The 2.08-m guard averaged 15.1 points and 5.9 assists in 18 games combined last season with Mega MIS and Crvena Zvezda, both of Serbia’s KLS teams. Topic, 18, is a high-level passer and a good finisher around the basket, though he will need to improve as a shooter.
Topic’s stock plummeted earlier this month when he suffered a partially torn ACL, which could sideline him for the entire upcoming season. But he’ll have plenty of time to recover and develop with OKC.
