Western Conference standings
Looking to the West, we see the Nuggets tied with the Thunder for first place in the Conference. The Thunder hold the tiebreaker, so if the season ended today, OKC would get the top seed, but fortunately for the Nuggets, there is still a month left in the regular season. The Mavs are in a different race, trying to get out of the Play-In standings. They are currently 8th, a half-game behind the Kings and a game behind the Suns who hold the final automatic playoff spot in the 6th seed. It’s going to be a race for the top six, but the Mavs are going to have to catch up to the rest of the field while holding off the Lakers and Warriors who are a few games behind Dallas.
