Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Australian international midfielder Alana Murphy on a permanent deal.
WSL Full-Time was informed of the news via an official club press release from The Tricky Trees this evening.

The 20-year-old joins Nottingham Forest from German 2. Frauen-Bundesliga club Sand SC. The player has signed an 18-month contract at The City Ground.
Murphy began his career with Australian Ninja A-League club Melbourne Victory. She continued her development with the Blacktown Spartans in the New South Wales Premier Leagues. Murphy joined last club SC Sand last August. She made 12 appearances for the German club in all competitions.
On the international stage, Murphy has been capped by Australia five times at senior level. She received her first call-up for the CommBank Matildas last February and went on to get some senior minutes under her belt.
After joining Nottingham Forest, Murphy said: “I’m really happy join Nottingham Forest. I am ready to take on a new challenge and I think I can bring a lot to this team.

Murphy will be available for selection for Nottingham Forest once the necessary international clearance has been received.
